Imprint has developed specific protocols for various equine disciplines. Protocols are comprised of algorithms that interpret the horse's brain frequencies and create neuromodulation sensations. A horse's brain will self-adjust as a result of these sensations.

What does an Imprint session look like?
An Imprint technician typically conducts sessions in a semi-private area with minimal distraction. Unlike our 1st generation technology, which required total silence to operate, our 2nd generation technology is much less dependent on barn environment. Distractions should be minimal as the nonproductive behaviors of nearby equine can be detrimental to the outcome of your horse's session. Our technician will clean specific areas of the horse's head with alcohol wipes and adhere the electrodes on the head and ears with conductive paste. If a horse has an extremely thick coat, the technician may need to clip a small area of hair at the electrode placement site. Most horses do not need to be clipped. After a short session, the horse will be returned to its stall to relax . Within approximately 30 to 60 minutes, the horse can be trailered, stalled, or returned to pasture with minimal mental and physical activity.
A brain uses roughly 40% of the energy available to the body. When an equine brain is working to harmonize itself during and after a session, it can utilize an extensive amount of energy. The horse needs to be given at least 48 hours to rest without physical exertion.
